Hands, Fingers Kneading Dough

Online

A creative class combining fun play-dough animals creations with a gentle hand warm up routine for kids with a physical disability. The class in addition to being a fun creative outlet also helps strengthen finger and hand muscles, improving fine motor skills. On the Spot for Teens

This online, twenty-minute, low-impact, upper-body workout is designed to help wheelchair users stretch out the hands, arms and shoulders. These can be done in a seated or standing position. If you want to challenge yourself you can use any of the following props – light handheld weights, a medium sized ball, two tennis balls or two small bottles of water. Epilepsy Awareness for Parents

An Epilepsy Awareness Information Session for Parents provided by Niamh Jones, Community Resource Officer for Epilepsy Ireland. Niamh will discuss epilepsy related issues such as types of seizures, first aid, triggers and lifestyle and education. There will be time allocated for Q&A after the session. Yoga for Adults with a Physical Disability

‘Yoga for adults with a physical disability’ is a five week course that is open to adult service users. Suitable for wheelchair users this class is provided by an experienced yoga instructor. Yoga is a very adaptable exercise, and can be easily practiced from a seated position. It can also be modified to an individuals personal needs. There's no special chair required to participate.
