About

Kate has over 10 years’ experience coordinating and designing quality physical activity programmes for people with a disability at local, regional, and national level. 

Kate has a BSc. in Health and Leisure with Physical Education Studies and a Professional Diploma in Education at the University of Limerick. She has worked with CARA Sport Inclusion Ireland as the National Training and Education Officer and has over 5 years’ experience working as a Sport Inclusion Disability Officer both in Cork and Meath with the Local Sports Partnership network. Kate is a Sport Ireland Coach Developer and has lectured on Adapted Physical Activity in Waterford Institute of Technology supporting leaders to design and deliver activities that are inclusive for people of all ability levels. Kate is a lecturer in Munster Technological University Kerry.
