We have much to celebrate at the Crann Centre, as the team were awarded the Rehabilitation Clinic of the Year at the Irish Healthcare Centre Awards on Friday May 23rd.
Crann had been short listed in three categories this year – Specialist Care Centre of the Year, Rehabilitation Clinic of the Year and Best Use of Information Technology.
Winning Rehabilitation Clinic of the Year means a great deal to the whole team as it is a testament to our expert Occupational Therapy team – Maura Kelleher and Sarah Kennington. Maura and Sarah help clients optimise their functions and independence through tailored supports like upper limb rehabilitation, visual perception and cognitive rehabilitation. The award is also recognition for the hard work and support of the client liaison team who co-ordinate care plans and direct client families to our rehabilitation services, while the client services team ensure appointments are co-ordinated in a timely manner.
This is the 2nd year that the Crann Centre has been acknowledged by the Irish Healthcare Centre Awards, having won Specialist Clinic of the Year in 2024.
