On Friday, 10th October 2025, the spirit of community was on full display as Glaslinn Choir hosted a Charity Concert in aid of The Crann Centre at the Church of St Mary & St John, Ballincollig.

Joined by The White Horse Gospel Choir, Cór Gaelscoil Uí Ríordáin, and Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, Ballincollig Branch, the evening showcased the incredible talent that exists across Cork while supporting Crann – a cause close to many in the choir and their audience.

The result was an outstanding fundraising achievement, with an incredible €4,744 raised for The Crann Centre.

During the evening, attendees also heard directly from Crann CEO Padraig Mallon and Founder Kate Jarvey, who spoke about the impact of Crann’s work and the difference community support makes to the families who access the centre’s services.

The success of the concert was made possible through the hard work and dedication of Glaslinn Choir and the participating groups, who generously gave their time and talent in support of local families.

The evening was a wonderful example of community in action; people coming together, sharing their gifts and supporting a common cause.

From everyone at The Crann Centre, thank you to Glaslinn Choir, The White Horse Gospel Choir, Cór Gaelscoil Uí Ríordáin, Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann Ballincollig Branch, all performers, volunteers and attendees for making the evening such a success.

Together, they raised €4,744 and helped ensure more children, adults and families living with neuro-physical disabilities can access the support they need to thrive.
