Leaving a Gift
in Your Will

Leaving a Gift
in Your Will

A Gift in your Will to Crann becomes a powerful testament to your lifelong belief in compassion, equity, and the impact of whole-family support for families with neuro-physical disabilities.

Creating or updating your will to include a gift is simpler than you might think. Speak to a member of the Crann team in confidence for more information if you are thinking about leaving a gift to Crann. Your solicitor will provide you with specific guidance.

What a Gift in Your Will can do

The Gift you leave can help Crann improve our programmes, expand our services, and reach more families living with neuro-physical disabilities in Munster. Your donation can help Crann develop its groundbreaking 2Gen Model of Care, which supports the whole family living with neuro-physical disabilities, so that each member of the family can thrive.

Once those you love are taken care of, even 1% of the value of your will can make a meaningful contribution to the families Crann supports. A gift in your will is tax-free to Irish registered charities, so you can rest assured that your legacy will have maximum impact.

A Gift in your Will can:

Help a young family with Cerebral palsy

Help support a young family with Cerebral Palsy by providing siblings a space to work through their complex emotions in Crann’s Sibshops, support parents with toolkits for finding a balance in life, and creating memories without compromise at our fully-accessible play and leisure facilities – our Playground & Conservation at Crann.

The gift of Independence

Provide independent continence support to a young person with a spinal cord injury so they can go about their day as seamlessly as possible, while providing their partner with confidential counselling to help them process complex emotions.

Rehabilitation

Provide vocational and cognitive rehabilitation to someone returning to work after a stroke so they can continue to support themselves and build their career.

These examples represent the real-world outcomes that a donation left through your will can have. If you include Crann in your will, we take this trust very seriously and will uphold the highest standards in how we use and account for donated funds. Information about Crann’s Governance and our Annual Reports are available here.

We would also like to know as it gives us the opportunity to thank you. If you would prefer not to be recognised for your kind donation in our publications, we can arrange this for you too.
