‘It only takes a minute’ – Pressure care awareness workshop for parents
If your child has a physical disability or are a wheelchair user, they could potentially be at a higher risk of developing pressure ulcers.
Pressure ulcers are debilitating, potentially life threatening and painful. They effect a persons’ quality of life, independence and mobility.
The ‘It only takes a minute’ pressure care awareness workshop for parents and carers provides a detailed overview regarding pressure ulcer development, preventative measures and simple strategies to empower attendees, encouraging daily monitoring and early detection.
This workshop aims to help you to identify those risks and put simple strategies in place to monitor your child’s pressure areas so you can identify pressure ulcer development early and get treatment quickly.
