Breaking Barriers Children’s Group

Breaking Barriers is a fun, collaborative group that supports children to develop their confidence through drama. It brings the joy and skills of performance to budding actors with neuro-physical disabilities!

Along with performance skills, Breaking Barriers is a chance for children to socialise and work on their emotional development and communication. Drama uses play, story, imagination, improvisation and creative thinking to bring the performance to life.

Breaking Barriers is a weekly workshop with a live performance in a working theatre in March! The live performance will need more than just actors if backstage is more your child’s scene!

For younger children, classes focus on confidence building, sharing ideas and teamwork. Older children and teenagers are encouraged to find their own creative voice and supported to create their own work.
