Crann’s Head of Business Support, Gemma Leo, recently represented Crann at the Dell Tech Forum held at the RDS in Dublin, speaking about Crann’s journey to leverage AI to enhance clients experience and improve efficiencies.

Over the last 3 years our neighbours at Dell have been a constant support at the Crann Centre, from volunteering their time at events such as our Santa experience or doing general upkeep ensuring Crann is always pristine.

The partnership stepped up a gear last year when Crann asked Dell if they could come up with an innovative solution to improve our intake process. Dell’s EMEA Pre-Sales team, including Mark Hand, Paul Dempsey and Laura Hanlon, who are based in Dell’s Cork and Limerick sites, responded to the brief, proposing an AI tool to transform Crann’s intake process with the aim of enhancing client experience and increasing the number of families Crann can serve by reducing administration time for the Client Liaison team.

In a full circle moment, Gemma was invited by Dell to “volunteer” her time and speak on two panels about Crann’s journey with innovation and AI alongside institutions like Met Eireann. She was joined on the day by her project partner Laura Hanlon from Dell.

Crann’s relationship with Dell continues as we develop digital solutions together. If you want to know more about how we are improving services for families living with neuro-physical disability, contact Gemma at gleo@cranncentre.ie.
